General description

My store sells RC Drones, Quadcopters, and associated accessories. At the moment there is an inventory of around 300+ items. I also run the Oberlo extension which is great for managing the inventory. There are social media accounts for my business although I have not had the time to update these. The store is based on a premium template and is a full - featured ecommerce business. It has had sales in the past, prior to my purchase of the store. I bought it intending to go into ecommerce full-time however a career change has meant I no longer have the time to spend on my store. I also knew absolutely nothing about ecommerce and social media when I bought the store and intended to learn as I went along however with my lack of time this has proved virtually impossible. Consequently the business has been inactive for the past year or so, and although I would love to fulfill my original intention I am now making the difficult decision to sell my store to someone who has the time to devote to it. The sector is huge, and continues to grow, with a wide range of opportunities and massive potential, so this will be ideal for someone to make a decent amount of money in a growing marketplace. I have a few associated domains that will be included in the sale also. I'm really sad to be listing this business but I have to be realistic - there's no point in it simply sitting there doing nothing. When the store was launched it mad sales straight away so there is some evidence of the potential in this business.

Why should someone buy this store?

It's a full-feature store, it has social media accounts already set up, and it has a sales record, and it's in a strong sector that has lots of potential. Looking to sell therefore I am willing to listen to any sensible offer for my store, so if you're interested let's talk.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Everything is already in place - it just needs someone with the time (and little social media knowledge) to devote to it. At the moment there is a large inventory so there is plenty of scope to refine this going forward. There are a variety of sub-niches that can be developed and more accessories that could be added - it's almost limitless. The social media accounts will need to be brought up to date. I recently signed up to DGI's affiliate programme (I haven't had time to set this up yet though) so this is another area that can be developed.

What work have you put into the store?

Pretty much as soon as I bought it my career changed and I went from working part-time to full-time, with a long commute, so unfortunately I couldn't build on the initial sales success and maintain the momentum. I have kept the inventory up to date and initially made a few social media posts but haven't really put much work into the store at all I'm afraid to say. I've listed one hour per week under the section "How many hours are dedicated to operations per week?" because this is on average what I spend however I see this changes in the listing to show how many hours "does it take to run the business" per week - this would be a variable amount - the more time spent would lead to better results.
Time to run this business: approximately 1 hour per week
