Why this business was started

I’ve been building brands for the past 5 years, beginning with my first skincare brand in 2016 which generated $7,000 revenue. After numerous other brands (some failures, some successes) I ended up venturing into the Jewelry niche due to the exceptional margins and my knowledge of Social Media. This worked out exceptionally well, with the brand consistently hitting $25,000-$30,000 revenue per month, on track to hit $40,000 this month.

I thoroughly enjoy building something from the ground up, with this brand in particular taking around 1-2 months to get up to a decent level of revenue, before scaling quite aggressively from there.

The reason of selling this business

Alongside E-Commerce I also study at University, during my 4th and final year I’ve found it extremely hard to focus on University at the same time so looking for the right person to scale it up to $100,000+ per month. This is alongside pressure from my parents to focus on university until I graduate.

I am actively looking for the right person as I don’t want to just sell to anybody. I have invested a lot of sweat equity into this particular brand and want to make sure the team I have assembled is taken good care of, as well as the brand itself.

There are clear avenues to scale up to $100,000+ per month but all of which will involve significant time investment which I just can’t afford right now, hence my reason for looking for a buyer.

As of right now, 99% of our traffic is organic through our affiliate program, with only a simple retargeting campaign on FB that spends $5 a day. This means you can afford a much higher CPP due to the excess cash flow that is generated on autopilot.

What's involved in running this business

I have spent the past 8-9 months building out systems and teams to automate 99% of the business. This means that all I essentially do is make executive decision that drive growth, I’m not active in the day-to-day unless I need to be, this is all attributed to the team I have assembled who are extremely hard working and committed to the brand.

I have an executive assistant (Christine) that handles: Logistics (Monitoring stock, shipping times etc) Product/Service Research General Overseeing of all other Senior Roles Social Media Management

I have a customer support rep (Cristene) that handles the entire Post Purchase flow for each customer as well as dealing with any shipping/product quality issues.

I have an Affiliate Manager (Daisy) who oversees our entire affiliate programme and all the roles within it including payout distribution etc

These three roles ensure that I check all KPI’s on a daily/weekly basis and lay out a roadmap on areas to improve and how to do it, without doing any of the work myself.

    How to grow this business

    I would invest heavily into organic marketing through TikTok as it’s the most used Social Media app currently. Our products are a huge hit with the younger demographic which is primarily based on TikTok and Instagram, we just haven't focused on TikTok at all.

    On top of this I would build out a network of Influencers to help bring the brand to the next level and add further social proof. Aside from these two factors I would invest some capital into improving product quality and transition eventually to precious metals such as Vermeil instead of stainless steel gold plated material.

    Once this is accomplished I would then focus solely on the customer experience and improve customer retention, this could include limited drops of new designs and more luxury packaging.

    99% of the business itself is automated so the new owner doesn’t need knowledge of anything but it definitely helps.
