We wanted to create an environment for individuals and businesses to shop for eco-friendly and sustainable products. In 2019 and 2020 we had good success with businesses purchasing alternative, branded products to wasteful, items typically distributed at conference, or as customer and employee gifts.
It is a very active niche, and customers are often eager to discuss products and the industry.

We have several high tech businesses that are consuming all of our time and advertising resources.

Marketing and advertising though not required significantly impacts revenues. When we invest $7 to $9k per month we are able to generate $50 to $60k. Beyond this, maintaining a strong focus on customer service, keeps our customers coming back, and new organic leads. We have a part-time virtual assistance that manages the store and part-time person to assist with shipping orders.

Other details about profit: We source our products from US and Asian manufacturers, and have strong partnerships with most. Product margins are closely tied to shipping cost, with accurate forecasting we can bulk ship Asian products by sea significantly increasing our profit margin. Likewise, we target suppliers that will ship directly to our customers, reducing our overall cost (increasing profit margins). We currently don't sell this product line in Amazon though it's a great market for them and easy to set-up with Shopify.

We will migrate the domain, email and chat accounts over to any destination the customer requires. During the 45 days our customer service agent will be available for 2.5 hours per week (mornings) to help with questions about the site, applications used, or product feed questions, to help the buyer come up to speed quickly.

    How to grow this business

    When companies return to work, after the pandemic, expand the focus (from primarily consumers) to offer the product lines as alternative to wasteful products and tokens historically offered as giveaways by companies. The consumer product collections should continue to be expanded to include new eco-friendly products. We have identified several products that could be purchased rebranded and packaged. We have chosen to not sell the domain or logo as our parent company (LLC) utilizes several of the same words and we don't want to confuse our or the buyer's customers. We are happy to introduce the buyers new brand, domain and contact details to the existing customers via email.
