Why this business was started
I had quite some experience in the affiliate marketing industry where I ran into many people working in the eCommerce space as well (mostly dropshipping). I figured I could build something for myself as well. This business in baby accessories was started up in DEC 2017 after seeing big opportunities for a dropshipping company in the Dutch speaking niche. I was right. With making a good looking website, good ideas from affiliate marketing background but without a lot of FB ads experience, I was able to generate immediate success in my first months of business. It was a lot of fun to do, with little time and effort making good earnings besides a 9-5 job in the affiliate marketing space.
The reason of selling this business
As I am still working for another company and since I was promoted, I got bigger responsibilities and projects to manage for 2019. I had to choose between going full time with this store or continuing with my current employment. I chose the last, even though there is more than enough potential to grow this business to 1 million euro revenue in 2019. I want and need to learn more before I can run/build my own business to these kind of levels.

How to grow this business
I would focus on making the brand international as for the products we sold, we only sold it to NL and BE customers. There are so many areas not discovered yet (name Instagram, Youtube (influencers), Pinterest and Google Shopping advertisement) where lots of new audiences can be reached.
Skills to have
The gut feeling of good selling products and opportunties. Being a marketeer basically :). Knowledge of FB ads would be most helpful as the FB pixel is all set and gathered lots of data to work with.
