Why this business was started

Generating a passive income and owning a webstore next to finding a job. Taking on a new challenge and starting my own business where I am my own boss. This worked up to a certain level where I needed more knowledge and time to make it into a success.

I simply started looking for the best niche where I also have passion for. The work that has to be put into a webstore is amazing because you're doing it for your self.

The reason of selling this business

However, the social media marketing has been harder than I expected it to be. My confidence in myself as a dropshipper has decreased and I have no more money to invest in the store. Therefore I sell the store and find a job before restarting. Everything in the store is present, the appealing looks the perfect benefit aimed descriptions at products. The only thing that is missing is the person taking action in order to make it to a success!

What's involved in running this business

Keeping up with social media trends, what's working within advertising and whats not. For example, Instagram stories work well as opposed to Facebook feed advertising. However, this is my opinion. The product niche is ver selective but covers different products of other niches. So the goal is to find the perfect solutions for travelers and provide the total package of convenient and handy travel gadgets!

Additional information after feedback of Shopify exchange support team: Customer research The customer research has been executed by defining the perfect customer within the targetted age of 18 up to 30 years. These can be men and women who are eager to go travel the world. The focus lies at providing all the gadgets and accessories that someone (might) need in order to be ready for everything along the way during their journey.

Things that are involved in this business are:

Creating an adequate product catalog oriented on the target group. This is done by doing product research on backpackers forums, following the trends amongst travelers/backpackers. This is followed up by proper product research and finding suitable suppliers which are reliable in their product quality and service paired with the product delivery hence the store is based on dropshipping which means that the store owner does not encounter the physical product. Creating a social media page where the store interacts with its target area throughout social media posts, social media marketing and content which is created by the store owner itself(me). Everything is done throughout the perspective of being a traveler myself. Speak to the target group as your peers and help possible customers to find the best product that fits their travel itinerary. Advertising is done with the Facebook advertising tool. This tool helps me to post advertisements on the timeline of Facebook as well as Instagram. Orders are fulfilled throughout Oberlo, this app is integrated with the Shopify store. Everything is automated and fully operational. the only thing that one must do is pay the order when it is placed at the supplier. When customers buy a product they add their e-mail address which can be used to keep them posted on new products, content and appealing discounts. Furthermore, retargeting can be done via the Facebook advertising targetting tool. A pixel has been installed onto the Shopify store which keeps track of all the people who come and go on the store. Next to that, the google analytics tool has been attached to the store as well to provide additional data about the traffic that visits the store.

When a buyer of the store needs any help they can always contact me during the first year!
Throug which medium will I provide assistance? (Assistance can be provided throughout WhatsApp, Facebook chat, calling, skyping or zoom. Document exchange throughout the exchange market place and e-mail) In which format do I send my information: (The docuements are deliverd in [REDACTED], [REDACTED] or [REDACTED] or .png files. This explanation can be given on the exchange messaging system. We connect and make agreements up to we both have given our consent upon the terms of the sale before I sell the store. Aftersales assistance shall consist of providing answers and information on all the questions about setting up the webstore up to 2 months after we have both consented to exchanging the store from one seller to the buyer. Afterwards after selling the store we can maintain contact, so in case of uncertainty or quesitons the new owener of the store can reach out to me via: - The buyer can keep in contact for small questions via WhatsApp or Facebook messenger. Besides we can set fixed dates when we meet on zoom/skype and handle all the obstacles for the buyer that has come on his path while conducting business. These problems may be everything from personal entrepreneurship to order fulfilling.

After that, I assume they are fully able to operate the Shopify store by theirself. Of course if one finds an obstacle I will always provide the best help within my abilities.

    Be able to put yourself into the mind of a backpacker. Possess knowledge on how to operate an ecommerce store. This means, be able to naviaget through the back-end of shopify and create advertisements on social media.
