Why this business was started
Most bath bombs are just pretty, without any real benefit. I wanted to produce a bath bomb with natural coconut oil and antioxidants, that truly nourish the skin. Also, most bath bombs are packaged in simple plastic, and I wanted to develop a product that would look great on a retail shelf.
The reason of selling this business
My wife and I had our first child this past year, and we never really had the opportunity to get this business off the ground. We had a couple sales, and just started to get interest in our mailing list. But, I no longer have time for this!
What's involved in running this business
I did all the website design, and enlisted consulting help to design the packaging. The main investment is in our custom packaging. It is beautiful.

How to grow this business
Because I invested in a beautiful box design, I would focus on selling to retailers (hair salons, cosmetic stores), as this brightens up their display case. It frankly looks gorgeous!
Skills to have
My wife and I had planned on making the bath bombs ourselves, and we developed recipes for each of the four types. I will include all bath bomb making equipment (molds, bowls, etc), as well as our recipes. You should be willing to experiment and try different ways to make bath bombs.
