Why this business was started

I decided to buy the business because I'm genuinely interested in health and wellbeing. When coronavirus came, I began looking into online investment opportunities and came across Bath Parlor. I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to aggregate with another online store (such as essential oils) and ultimately sell the combined store in 3-5 years.

Old Owner's reason: My mentor had a close relationship with a lot of high ticket dropship sellers and had found himself interested in creating a store. I was provided the Shoptimized theme for free already from my work with him. Decided to tackle it as a venture I could grow and eventually sell.

The reason of selling this business

To be clear, I am satisfied with the business thus far and the only reasons that I'd consider selling is 1) To free up more time because I love my research on wellbeing and would like to spend more time on that, or 2) I get an offer that provides a significant return on my investment.

Old Owner's reason: I started making money writing content and building up my portfolio that way. Having specialized knowledge of marketing, writing, ecom, and Shopify proved to be useful for other app developers. Targeting more now on saas email, ecom email, and ecom consulting. I enjoy it more

Getting updates from two outsourced workers. One handles [REDACTED],live chat. The other does data entry. Check emails from suppliers for product announcements. Communicate with outsourced staff on updates and any customer inquiries. Look at organic keyword opportunities for more organic traffic.
