Why this business was started

My entire job is creating e-commerce stores, I’m a business owner and I decided to create more businesses to create more capital for myself. I saw an opportunity in swimwear about two years ago and decided that it would be a good store to create to fund my lifestyle. I also wanted to start something in fashion which is why I created this brand.

The reason of selling this business

I will be moving on to bigger business ideas and I can dedicate enough time to the store in order to make it to the next level. Someone with motivation and dedication could take it to the next level, six figures in a year for sure. I have multiple ecommerce stores doing close to 6 digit today so I just don’t have the time and the manpower to handle this one anymore. The business has a lot of potential if someone put time into Facebook or Instagram marketing, so far after two years it’s made a lot of revenue with absolutely no ads at all. The business just need some time put into it.

What's involved in running this business

I’ve set up the business in a way that it really easy to run the business you don’t have to have a lot of knowledge of a lot of information in drop shipping, as most of it, is all automated, all it would need is someone to monitor Instagram influencer, filling the orders through Oberlo and making the page clean with no glitches and bugs. Another big part of running the business is just keeping customer service at top priority, dealing with customers make sure they’re satisfied from purchasing the product to receiving the product.

Other details about profit: Since creating the store, all profits for me were only really made in the second year when I figured out exactly how to run the store, so in a year, almost 19k has been generated. Sales always drop slightly in December period as this is a seasonal store, but this gives time to take a step back to then blow up the summer period.

    How to grow this business

    I would focus on marketing. Use more influencers, push the brand name, and use Facebook page adverts to really grow at. Play around with suppliers and nail down some top quality products, if you can find them. It has the potential to grow from a drop shipping store to a real brand and I have nearly accomplished this. The suppliers are in place and cooperate fully when you need them, it wouldn't really be hard to develop an exclusive product and therefore boost the brand. If that’s not what you’re after, you can continue to fully grow just through drop shipping, the basics are all there. The store is valued higher than the asking price, so would be a real steal for someone who either wants to get into the drop shipping world or just wants to get into creating a full on brand.
