I love the fashion industry. Keeping up with the latest fashion trends and styles is one of my favorite things to study and invest time in. My store Becomingly is my ideal closet. Online shopping is definitely the way of the future. You can look at each item one by one, be aware of what sizes are available and not be distracted or discouraged by the craziness of a store. I am selling my business because I am traveling out of the country and can’t be as dedicated as I once was to fulfilling orders, updating products and importing new products. It would be amazing for me to see someone take the foundation I have built and make this online clothing store thrive. It’s not ideal that I can’t be updating my site every day and it is coming to a natural end. A clothing store like this one is taking on the constant change of what is popular and change of seasons. Sales and promotions really help when the seasons and trends are changing. Not only has traveling taken time from updating the store but taken time from updating all of the Social Media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. It is vital for a growing company to post to this sites at least one time a day.

What's involved in running this business

Every day I check in on my products to see if any are gone from the supplier. At any moment the clothing items may not be available so it is very important to stay on top of that by adding more inventory, and searching more products to add to the store. Also, knowledge in the fashion industry and what is tending right now is a must. Some creativity is involved when writing product descriptions, running social media, and creating sales. Posting to Instagram and Facebook once a day, Twitter at least 2-3 times a day, and Pinterest a few times a day as well to gain visibility and followers. I try to write a blog at least once a week to add to the site as well. For a new business, gaining followers is vital.
