Why this business was started

I decided to start this business as a proof of concept idea. This is an up and coming niche that is set to continue growing. With good management of the store and a good idea of direction this has endless possibilities. I wanted to prove that in one month, I could turn a profit on a pet store. Normally most stores take several months to begin turning profits but this site has been running for 3 weeks and has made around £350 in sales of which £150 of that is profit. After i began to understand how to market and run thi store better, it made very good sales and profit margins were very good. In about 6 months it made about $30000 in sales

The reason of selling this business

I have decided to sell this store to fund a new project with another concept I have wanted to test. I stopped running ads for this store 1 month ago and the month before i ran limited ads on a very small budget as I began financing my next project.

What's involved in running this business

Generating traffic via paid advertising and testing audiences. Product research to see whats new on the pet scene or even what is old since product popularity comes in cycles often. Then product testing with what you find. Also email queries for customer support.

    How to grow this business

    This store just needs ads exposure again how I did it a few months ago. It already has had £30000 in sales and most of that came in a 5-6month period where my ad testing was at its best and prior to me reducing and cutting ads to fund other projects.

    Skills to have

    ADvertising knowledge is the biggest key. Without it, the store is very limited. You need to have some idea of how to drive the right kind of traffic to the store. From there, as long as you keep customers insterested with discounts etc then the sales will come.
