Bmini is a store for design products for children from 0 to 8 years old. We have a find selection of top brands with also some exclusive products.
We started in 2013 when our daughter was born and grew year after year. Last year we had a revenue of 120000 eur.
Last year I didn't put in so much marketing effort anymore because of lack of time because of other professional activities. The shop is still performing not bad but I'm sure that with a decent marketing effort, the figures can rise quickly.
We are based in Belgium, but are delivering worldwide. We already delivered to 60+ countries. The most important markets are Belgium, the Netherlands, UK and US.
Next to the shopify store we also sell on different marketplaces like [REDACTED] (marketleader in Belgium and Netherlands), Coolshop (Scandinavia), [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]
A lot of things are automated so that there is a minimal effort for the daily operational tasks. That means you can focus on marketing, creating products, blogging, etc...
We also have included a number of domains like [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]
The site is also multilingual. Currently it is translated in English and Dutch but this can easily be expanded.

The inventory is in a 3rd party warehouse who also performs the pick, pack and ship with great shipping conditions. Next day delivery (for orders < 22h) for Belgium and Netherlands and worldwide in 72 h.
With this store revenue will come immediately from day 1. So you won't loose precious time setting everything up, finding suppliers, etc... It will allow you to gradually grow and focus on the things that matter. Everything is in place to automatically handle orders and ship them without you having to do anything.
We are also established since 2013 and growing consistently. So you get the domains, with the history and Google knows.
I will also be available for assistance or any questions you may have to get you up and running. This website is my baby and it is with pain in the heart that I let it go, so I want to support you in making this a success.
How can the future owner improve the business?
There are a few areas that should be focused on. The main one is marketing. This is what I was not doing well the last year or so. I'm more an IT guy, you know. So blogging, social media posts, newsletters, etc. ,there will be the main gain. But also, adding new products, updating product texts is something I recommend.
What work have you put into the store?
The first years, I put in a lot of effort. So it grew exponentially. But I also took the time to automate things so that the work I had to put in for the operational side of things was less and less.
How many hours does it take to run this business per week?
Hi, my name is Kris. I'm 42 years old, IT consultant and father of 3 kids (6, 6 and 4). As a side project, I started this e-commerce business on the day our daughter was born. It was a lot of fun, also a lot of work, but priorities have changed over the years and now I want someone with more marketing affinity to take over my work and take the business to the next level.
