Why this business was started
I've loved owning this store, and now's the time for me to focus on my other side hustle in an industry I'm comfortable with. For anyone with an interest in fashion, owning and running this business is a dream :) The Bondi Bare spirit is all about ocean-inspired living, and it's a space with a lot of potential.
The reason of selling this business
I've been owner and manager of Bondi Bare as a means to understand the opportunities in this space, and the demand for ocean-inspired swimwear, skincare, and outdoor lifestyle products certainly exists. The website branding that has been put together is easy to fall in love with, and I've created it alongside a contracting team of expert designers and consultants. It's time for me to sell, so I can concentrate on my other business venture which is in an industry in my area of expertise. It's simply been a matter for me of choosing which business I'll move forward with.
What's involved in running this business
I have a Virtual Assistant working with me on this business for around $5 USD per hour. She's fantastic, and answers all customer emails, fulfils all orders, and runs every aspect of day to day store management. We have automated functions on instant messaging (called Slack, if you've ever used that), that alert us when a new order comes in, when we have a new customer query, or even when we have an abandoned cart. We've set up everything in this store to be as automated as possible, as I have a day-job and needed the business to be able to run without me!
On a higher level, checking in on social media (Facebook and Instagram) ad campaigns will need to be done. All the groundwork for this has been set up, and you'll see that we get a good volume in sales - while our ads were fully running, this scaled up to about ten orders per day. You'll just need to add in new text and imagery to these ads over time.
You can also add new products over time as well, to ensure that our catalog remains fresh. This involves taking a look at what our vendors have to offer, and selecting what you think will work best in terms of price point and design. I work with vendors in Australia (I'll pass you on their details - they also ship internationally), and I also work with vendors on AliExpress. Choose to continue working with my vendors, or add your own!
Our website has been developed with best user experience in mind. I developed this with input from my friends and colleagues who, like me, are marketing and design consultants. There are many thousands of dollars worth of design, template work, and professional hours that have already been put into the website. No further edits are needed, except those which you'd like to make to give the business some of your own personal flavor.

How to grow this business
I would work more closely with vendors to continue levelling up on product quality and adding their new designs to our store. I'd continue to run our successful social media advertising campaigns (very little work needed - they're all up and running!), and I'd post on social media regularly.

Good relationship management skills would be useful in getting great new products into the store from quality vendors.
