Why this business was started

A friend (and future co-owner) asked me if I wanted to help him start a company - the goal was to create something where we could put our philosophies into the world. The platform turned out to be apparel.

We are selling because it was always a side business of my partner and I and we just don't have the time that it needs to succeed. Growing families and increased responsibilities have made it very difficult to work on the business, so we decided that selling would give the business the best opportunity to succeed.

This business is pretty straight forward - creating exciting, desirable apparel for fitness enthusiasts, and then marketing to our thousands of customers. Day to day operations includes order fulfilment, but that could be handled by a 3rd party fulfillment center.

Other details about profit: Unfortunately COVID really slowed down our progress - when the pandemic started our primary responsibilities required all of our attention and Boxstar got put on the back burner. We never really recovered afterwards, so our profitability metrics are skewed a bit from a lackluster 2020/2021.
