Business Story

Why this business was started

I saw a opportunity to sale men underwear and accessories. My husband, was buying underwear regularly from other sites and I decided there was a market for these items. I created several pages on Facebook related to men's underwear and they started to grow. Underwear are low cost items non perishable items that can be store in a storage unit , attic, or garage. They are fun and sexy items that can catch the eye of a buyer.

The reason of selling this business

I don't want to sale the business. I have way to much on my plate right now and feel the store could preform much better in the hands of someone who can devote more time and attention to it. My husband feels I spend to much time on the store in the evenings and on weekends and wants me to spend more time with him. I also have a full time job and I am very active in my community. Something has to give.

What's involved in running this business

Lot's of social media. I have three pages on Facebook, and Instagram account, and a twitter account. I try to post to each of these pages daily unfortunately I have not done a very good job with the Twitter account. Someone who is very engaging on social media could do a great business with this website.

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

My Plan is/was to purchase items on sale and warehouse them in a storage unit in Atlanta. I was going to slowly build up my inventory over the next 5 years. I was also looking into a seasonal cart at one of Atlanta's local malls around Christmas and Valentines days.
