Why this business was started

My wife and I started this store because we were passionate about fashion and apparel. We had recently returned home after working overseas for a few years and were ready for a new challenge. We set the store together with a lot of enthusiasm, passion and years of experience in media and marketing and IT.

The reason of selling this business

As my wife and I started the store, we also started our own digital marketing business after over 10 years of experience in the industry. This business has been very successful over the past year and although we love the store, we found that we simply haven't been investing enough time in it to maximise the opportunity. Sales have still been good, even with very little effort, the imagery and style seems to really resonate with the customer so we'd love to see it go to someone who will be able to spend the time that we are not able to at the moment.

This is a is a drop shipping store, we were wanting to slowly transition into our own products but we just don't have time unfortunately. Products need to be selected, advertising managed, we have paid careful attention to customer service and social media.

How to grow this business

The growth potential of this store is massive, especially heading in to the fourth quarter sales period with Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up. It's a fantastic time to buy. When we were putting lots of time in to this store, our conversion rate was in the 2% for fashion and apparel. Unfortunately our other business meant that we couldn't continue to put in the time we would have liked.
