Business Story

Why this business was started

I decided that I wanted to sell leggings. I found a niche within a niche which is the "butt scrunch". I built a great brand. I have a Facebook and Instagram for Butt Scrunch. The logo looks great and the page is very clean.

I decided on e-commerce because I wanted a challenge. I wanted to see if I could do it.

The reason of selling this business

I own and operate a painting company in San Diego, CA. In the last couple of days I have decided to start a completely different business because of the local need. I love this business model but I need to focus all of my time on my new business. Love this business because it's easy though. Business is appraised at 13k via Exchange Marketplace.

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

I would just focus on facebook ads. I would continue to add more products to the site. Value when I'm trying is 13k. Selling for 4k. My loss your gain. I have sold very little in the last month or so because I don't have time to deal with it. The right buyer is someone who knows about advertising or who can afford to hire someone that does. Great name and layout. Tons of potential and I'm selling for much less than appraised for.

    Skills to have

    Just dedication.

Wish I would've known that you can just buy a store like this. Would've saved so much time in the beginning. Answers to questions I get: Supplier is in China and I have multiple but focus on one. I dropship from China. My product cost is around $6.50 including shipping for leggings and that's all I try to sell. I've used Facebook Ads and Google Ads. I'll give you everything I can and I'll do what I can to help. I don't have time and haven't for a month or so. I haven't been running any ads or doing any posts. Ton of potential. Selling CHEAP.

    Why use Exchange?

Exchange is the largest and fastest-growing marketplace for Shopify e-commerce stores

    Verified listing data

The revenue and traffic data that you see on each listing is pulled directly from its Shopify account. This means that the data has been verified. Exchange reviews and monitors listings for thorough and accurate information.

    Secure messaging platform

You will be able to communicate with sellers via a secure messaging platform. After you log in and request information from a listing, sellers are notified and have the ability to respond. When you are ready, you can make an offer.

    Encrypted payment capture

Exchange and Escrow.com have partnered together to provide you with safe transactions that have bank encryption, making sure that payment is securely captured. Escrow.com ensures that its users pass verification checks before transactions can proceed.

Take time to inspect the business

Once you submit payment to Escrow.com and the payment has been secured, the funds are held until you confirm that all assets received are as negotiated. You can use the inspection period to ask the seller any extra questions about the business.

    Safe store transfer

When the transaction is finalized, the dedicated migration team at Exchange will begin the process of making you the new owner of the store. Buyers and sellers will be notified via an email from the Exchange team once store transfers have been completed.
