Why this business was started

I started this site in late 2019 in the belief that we were entering a new decade where sustainability would be at the top of the agenda. As I'm updating this page at the start of July 2020 obviously a lot has changed, but I firmly believe that as we start the slow road to recovery after Covid-19 we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change our relationship with nature and I want to do what I can to raise awareness about this vital issue.

I have relocated to New Zealand so am looking to sell my business to someone who will be able to run it from the UK.

    Interest in sustainability is on the increase so the potential market will increase naturally in the next few years. To capitalise on this I would continue to focus on linking sustainability to saving money and being good to the environment.

    As an e-commerce store, the skills and knowledge required to run the business range from negotiating with suppliers through to marketing products (often through social media). Some knowledge of sustainability would be advantageous too given the nature of the product range.
