When I started this business over two years ago there was a big gap in the market for the niche I am in. When I first started this store we only had one product which I thought filled that need. Within the first month of advertising on facebook we sold over 3,000 units. Since then we have expanded to over a 20 product brand.

The reason I want to sell my business is because I am bored. I get enjoyments from building things and innovating. I have brought this store from a one product Shopify store to full on brand with over 20 different products. It feels more as a chore for me to continue running the business and after 2 and a half years I am ready to move on and build a new business from scratch in a different sector.

The main job of running this business is managing a team. There is a full team in place, all independent contractors all specialized in their own field. You must focus on managing these people and over concepts and long term vision.

    How to grow this business

    There are many avenues to scale this business in the future, some that I have been working on and some I don’t have the experience or connections in. The first route being Amazon. We already have a great online presence and why not try to tap in to the amazon marketplace. The second route being retail. We have a very reputable brand with verified instagram and facebook pages with over 170,000 followers, press features in Forbes, msnbc and Inc and have great products that would do great in retail. We have begun our retail pitch deck and can forward ideas. Lastly expand through subscription. Having such a big following, customer base and website where there is so much monthly traffic, we were planning on building out a way to capture re-accuring payments. Our idea was through a monthly subscription box box which we have a full pitch deck for but never got around to executing.
