Why this business was started
This business was started simply to help my mom out as she lost her income stream during the Covid pandemic so i saw a gap in the market and created this brand for her to manage and run (since i have 3+ years experience in the ecommerce space, it was more like a hobby project for me where she could get on a salary and manage the daily tasks). It quickly took off and we did $40,000 in the first month with around $9000 profit.
The reason of selling this business
A lot of the growth opportunities in the business needs more hours and commitment from someone with ecommerce experience than i have available. I have 4 other business ventures beside this one and it's simply just not sustainable for me to keep all while already working 14 hour days. I'm more passionate about the other ventures and simply decided on what my long term vision is and so i decided to let this one go (although i see so much potential for growth, so it does hurt a bit to sell it).
What's involved in running this business
Since the business is B2B custom signs, the backend from customer submits design idea/order, to Delivery happens, is very complicated. We have managed to build out the backend and supply chain to a level now, where it's running extremely smooth and automated. 90% of our order are B2B custom sign orders where the customer will submit info via a form on our website regarding the sign they wish to order. Our designer (insanely talented) will then create a mockup of the sign and once the customer approves we will send a payment link via email. The custom signs are produced by one of the largest suppliers in the space in china, who have extremely high attention to detail, quality checking, and also puts a guarantee on all products (took months to find this supplier, also the most price competitive supplier in this product category that we have found after getting quotes from 30+ top suppliers). The supplier has access to our backend and we have daily communication with them regarding questions about the custom orders to make sure everything is done as the customer wishes. The supplier will make the signs within 1-3 days and ship a bulk sign package 1-2 times per week with all the custom orders using express air delivery. Our company VAT registration makes the customs clearance on arrival in Denmark smooth every time, and since we repackage each order and reships it from our own warehouse we ensure that the customer will never incur any extra VAT or customs fees (which they would if we just shipped the sign to them directly from china). When the parcel arrives at our DK warehouse our team repackages them in branded boxes etc and ships using local curriers.
All in all you're buying a proven profitable business, that just works, has super happy and satisfied customers, ready to scale internationally and good reviews online. With my 3+ years in ecommerce it is really a dream brand to come across as it's so healthy, and i wish i didn't have to sell it, but other things just have higher priorities in life at the moment.

This brand has only been running in Denmark since launch 7 months ago to prove the concept and supply chain was a good sustainable business model with happy customers. Turns out it's excellent and it's now ready to be scaled out in Europe with fulfilment center in Denmark and good shipping rates for all EU member states + UK (product is custom signs so can also expand into the US but shipping will be higher resulting in slimmer margins).

Previous ecommerce experience is needed to run this store. Beginner level is enough as i will personally make sure the transition is smooth and all skills are passed on to the buyer.
