I have had the idea of starting an online store for a while and never really knew what to sell, after doing some research and publishing surveys I found out that not many people were selling car part related keyring's to car themed pages on Instagram and Facebook. I decided to open the online store based on this product. The store is a dropshipping store that sells items via oberlo from Ali-express.
After spending a generous amount of time picking products and making the store look attractive I paid multiple instagram pages to advertise my products which went well as for the amount of people who saw the ad I got a nice number of visitors, lots of people subscribed to my email list and a few sales. The items I sold on the website cost $1.79 each including shipping and I sold them for $10-13 each.
I ran ads for about a day when I realized my budget for starting the store wasn’t high enough and I didn’t know enough about how to run an online store and didn’t have enough time (With lots of school work) to work on it a lot.
Dropshipping stores take very little time to run and can be extremely profitable if you are willing to put in a little extra time and money. This store has lots of potential and could make you lots of money if run correctly
If the business owners has good knowledge on marketing and running and online store it will increase the amount of sales drastically. Also having a bigger budget for advertising will help increase sale a lot.
