Why this business was started

I started the business to fulfill a current need in the market place. After doing hours of research on social media, google and Amazon I saw that products within this specific niche were in extreme demand. I created the site as a passion project, and the specific theme also resonates with many of it's customers as well. The site is done in a way to inspire new customers through the specific theme, and also leaving a positive message.

I'm currently working at a full time position that now requires me to travel 70% of my time. I'm unable to focus on the site as i should as it has great potential to expand and grow. I would like to see the site grow to beyond what it currently is by using other means of marketing. Unfortunately I do not have the time to do this anymore. What's involved in running this business

Currently there are four parts to the business that require attention, and most of these have already been setup and automated. The site has been optimized for each product and page for continued conversions. The first part required is product selection, which I will show the new owner to hand pick any new products to sell and find suppliers. Second, is to continue marketing and optimize campaigns for a high ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). I will also show how to optimize the existing campaigns if new ads or products are introduced. Order fulfillment is fairly automated as we use a drop shipping agent in China who orders from the factories directly and ships the products directly to customers. Shipping times are competitive as this is a major pain point for many customers. This relationship with the agent will also be handed over with the site. Lastly, customer service will be required as well, however you can spend minimal time as I have a number of scripts set up for common questions by customers.

    How to grow this business

    Over the next five years I would concentrate more on building the brand by using google adwords and email marketing. Facebook marketing would still be used but by utilizing all three, the site would grow exponentially with re-targeting existing customers as well. Additionally, continued testing of new products being released on facebook ads.

    Skills to have

    The new owner will need to have great organizational skills, however I will show how manage the site and it's few areas. The first being fb marketing with the existing Pixel data. All data has already been optimized to bring in the most likely to buy traffic per product. Retargeting campaigns have also been set up to bring warm traffic through the sales funnel. I will work with the new owner to show how to set this up as well as continue to add new winning products to the site. The new owner will also need to learn more about the fulfillment process. Currently use a drop shipping agent who has access to incoming orders through the site. They fulfill each order as needed and ship, making the fulfillment process more automated. With new products, I will show how to work with other suppliers to fulfill incoming order in addition to finding winning products for the website. Lastly, responding to inquiries and questions from customers is very straight forward and I have a number of scripts to use to also automate this process.
