General description

We are an e-commerce store that sells pet apparel/supplies and donates 15% to local and national rescue shelters. The idea was started out of a love for pets and desire to see sheltered animals helped. In 2018, we've built an incredible reputation in the rescue world and have helped thousands of pets find forever homes. Our main product is a white-labeled bracelet.

This brand has taken a TON of work to get it to where it is right now, but due to other projects taking precedent, we've decided to sell it to someone who can take it to the next level and appropriately run the store.

Financials and traffic

Our average order value is $27.00 The average CPA (from FB ads) is $17.00 The average product cost is $.90 The average shipping/packaging cost is $1.75

Overall, the average profit per purchase is about $7.35.

ALSO, we have a subscription product that is donations to the store/organization that equal about $40,000 a year at the time. Other than fees from merchants and Recharge app, the rest is pure profit to use at store owners responsibility.

Business Expenses

Expenses vary depending on where you invest your time. We've had great success with FB ads and Email marketing, as well as some Shopify apps that integrate SMS marketing. The overhead is extremely low as I am completely running the business myself out of my home-office. I order the product here. I package it up. I print labels. I bring it to the PO and then manage the customer service as well. It's a lot to do myself, which is why the right person with good management skills would do great.

Q & A

Why should someone buy this store?

You should buy this store if you love pets and have the ability to take this to the next level. The amount of impact you can make with a store like this is insurmountable, not to mention the financial payoff as well.

How can the future owner improve the business?

The number one thing that would be needed is focus. I currently run a marketing agency and have a growing family that doesn't give me ample time to continue my focus on this project. When I was able to give it ample time and attention, our return was 3-4x. However with other projects taking precedent, it's been hard to focus on this store. The future owner would need to know that this isn't a store that you can "set and forget" without the proper team and VAs in place.

What work have you put into the store?

I've built the entire store myself, as well as make numerous connections along the way that has helped performance. The entire funnel is a well-tuned machine and has creatives (images/videos) that have been proven to work. From beginning to end, this store is ready to go. It just needs the RIGHT person to take over and take to the next level.

How many hours does it take to run this business per week?
