Business Story

Why this business was started

Tested one of the major products on this store with another site I own. The analytics showed there is a massive market for this product so I create a niche store around this product and have successfully scaled this to the current value.

The reason of selling this business

I have another project that is taking off and I would like to use some of the funds from this sell towards this new project.

What's involved in running this business

Running advertising campaigns, ordering from suppliers, researching the product niche (large potential to add new products to this store). Overview of business operations:

Inventory: We have an inventory manager freelancer located in China who negotiates with suppliers, sources new products, orders samples, labels, packages, and ships to our warehouses when ready.

Customer Service: We have a freelance customer service agent who handles all customer inquires through the Gorgias app.

Order fulfillment: All orders are fulfilled by Amazon FBA warehouses. Orders on Amazon are automatically fulfilled and all orders on Shopify are sent through a third party software that connects into Amazon FBA and is then fulfilled by their team. No manual work is needed for fulfillment by owner.

Advertisement and Marketing: We have an agency handling Google, Facebook, and email marketing. Intros and process of managing this agency will be described in more detail during the transition.

Bookkeeping: Finances are being managed by bookkeeping service [REDACTED]

Most day to day processes are managed by the hired freelancers and agencies. Owners responsibility are to oversee their work and work on bigger picture items.

This business was founded: almost 2 years ago
Time to run this business: approximately 10 hours per week
