Why this business was started

I am a seasoned web developer, and found the print-on-demand concept appealing for generating passive income. I haven't had the time to dedicate to actually getting to the passive part though. Charliesdive.com has great brand potential, it just needs a more experienced shopifier to make it a proper store.

The reason of selling this business

Busy, busy, busy. School, work, divorce, moving, holidays, etc. I think about sitting down and putting some work in on this every day, but I just always have something else needing my attention. All of the time I have put into this has gone into uploading and setting designs. I haven't had a chance to do any marketing at all.

What's involved in running this business

It's a print-on-demand store. Watch for notices that sizes or materials are out of stock with the print supplier, upload new designs, market. Everything else is handled by Prinful and Shopify.

How to grow this business

I have only uploaded about 50 of the 150 designs I have, so adding the remaining 100 will boost the selection of merchandise. expanding into hats and other clothing accessories with the design should probably be next.

Skills to have

Print-on-demand is all about asset ownership. the more designs you have, the more products you can make available. Print-on-demand (currently using printful) has a very small learning, but there is really nothing to it. No real special skills required for this store.
