Hey there,

We started this store 2 years ago and mostly sell premium, one size fits all bangle bracelets, similar to Alex & Ani, but use a custom bangle and own charms to bypass any possible confusion and patent (they have one for their own bangle).

Gross Sales 2016 - 967,410.38 Gross Sales 2017 - $154,369

It includes a monthly membership, which currently is at about 90 members (we haven't promoted it in over a year, very low churn rate now as they are core members that love the offer) - this generates about $1,500 in profit on the 1st of every month which is a nice way to start the month.

We have one contractor that puts together the bangles, does customer service, fulfillment, and creates the monthly box and works with an Etsy supplier to craft a new bangle for each box in time to send out by the 7th of the month so they receive on the 15th.

We have installed and secured great rates for POD service, ShineOn, which is a print on demand jewelry company that makes beautiful bangle bracelets and more, so rapid testing of new products can begin without taking on inventory. We also have about 15-25 other bangles not listed on the website in stock, but took down to not crowd the site for holiday season's best sellers.

We have over $200,000 in inventory (retail value) that we will include in the sale, including our best selling Wine Bangle (have sold over 10k) which we have about 7,500 bangles of. Also, includes our custom boxes, which we ordered from PackLane and have about 3,000 left. We also have about 10k stainless steel bangles that are top of the line, and perfect for creating new bangles with to test on the store. We won't charge for any of this inventory, just shipping cost of everything to get to you.

We are looking to pass this on to a buyer who has an interest in the jewelry niche, and/or a company already that could absorb this brand and expand it or maximize profit/efficiency.

Why should someone buy this store?

We've seen great success in top line revenue, and have a great buyers list and facebook ad account / pixel ready with custom audiences to take over. It comes with a recurring model built in, with members, and it's mostly hands off. We mismanaged our inventory, and took on too much overhead which killed our net profit. If properly managed, and not grossly over ordering inventory, we would have operated easily at a 20-25% margin (but spent mostly all of that on inventory)

You can order more inventory as needed from our supplier, who was incredible for the last 2 years in giving us excellent margins (most bangles sell from $15-25 and we get them made and landed here in the U.S. for under $2.5) Now, with the POD services, you can easily just design jewelry pieces and have other companies fulfill the orders, using the custom audiences, email lists, and assets here to test and jumpstart new products without any more money required for inventory, fulfillment, etc.

How can the future owner improve the business?

  • Launch more products, quicker than we did, using POD companies
  • Optimize & Promote the recurring offer
  • Promote other products relative to our best sellers (Grandma, In Memoriam Pieces, Wine, Hobbies like Knitting)
  • Get better margins using better logistics (shipping, processing, packaging) and offering higher priced items and bundles (we did well when we had bundles running)

What work have you put into the store?

2 Years of Blood, Sweat, and Tears - we have a new store taking up all of our time, and just looking to get a fair price on this as it could be a great asset to someone who knows how to either manage inventory properly, or a brilliant marketer that could use POD services to optimize the site and start right away with new offerings , rapidly testing designs on all jewelry pieces.
