Chic Jewelers has been a popular jewelry website and was started in March of 2018. I started the business because I have always had an interest in jewelry and fashion. Chic Jewelers currently has 30 products listed in its inventory. Included in this sale are: The Domain and Shopify Store which includes an email list of over 320 customers so far.
The business model I use is dropshipping. Currently I source my products from AliExpress. In order to attract customers I have used Facebook advertising to attract customers to the online store. Primarily I have used conversion campaigns to generate traffic. My lowest CPP was $9.00. Year to Date the store has generated $3,170 in sales with a customer conversion rate of 4.06%. Included in that time frame is about a 2 month period where I stopped driving traffic.
I am selling the business because I believe it is time for me to start a new venture. I have had fun setting up the store, running traffic and helping customers but it's time for a new challenge.
There is still a lot of money to be made with this store. If you want to sell your customer the latest jewelry and fashion trends this may be the vehicle for you.
To improve upon this business I would recommend using multiple marketing methods such as Google Adwords and SEO in addition to Facebook Ads.
To get this store where it is today I have worked hard on few things. I have spent many hours building out the storefront on Shopify, learning how to set up user friendly menus and intuitive navigation. I personally wrote all of the product descriptions in order to increase customer conversion rate, as well as picture selection/modification, price point, App testing and more.
