I enjoy finding winning ecommerce products and staring online brands. I came across this product while I was doing product research for my next online brand and I was very excited about it. It is easy to find products that other people would buy, but I am a very discriminating buyer, and it's exciting to find a product that I would buy for myself. This is one of those products.

The reason of selling this business

I really enjoy finding winning products, setting up a store, and proving that a product will work with initial sales. I get very excited for new ideas and starting new businesses, but don't have much patience to continue to work with and build a brand over time. I prefer to do what I love in getting a store off the ground, and then exit and let someone who will build it to major success step in and take over.

What's involved in running this business

Most of the processes of this store are automated. The main task in this business is running advertising campaigns through Facebook. This includes ad creation and ad optimization through Facebook Ads Manager. The order process is automated through Oberlo, Shopify and Klaviyo will send out all of the necessary confirmation, shipping, and abandoned cart emails.

    How to grow this business

    I've spent a fair amount of marking money finding the right audience for this product. The audience that I have found converts well for this product are men that want a clean home, but don't have a ton of time to work on cleaning themselves. These people will see how the main product works and how to use it effectively. To grow this store I would suggest on marking this product with facebook ads and instagram influencers, (find influencers with between 10K-100K followers that are primarily from the US, UK, AU, or CA for best value) and adding upsell products that fit this niche. You can also build out a solid email campaign (initial emails are already set up) to continue to reconvert existing customers by getting them to purchase the same product for their friends and family, or by selling them new products.

    This store is currently set for dropshipping as a low-cost way to get into ecommerce with a good product. As soon as you feel comfortable, I would recommend purchasing the minimum quantity order of these products from a supplier (look at alibaba.com for this) with the logo on it, and shipping them out from the US. This will reduce your product costs and your shipping time, enabling you to increase customer satisfaction and further establish your brand.

    Skills to have

    Passion for building a brand, and a knowledge of how to learn from YouTube are the necessary skills. :-)

    Experience with scaling a store with digital advertising (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is also very helpful as traffic from this store is currently from paid advertising.
