Why this business was started

I wanted to make an impact on our environment as well as provide females with a safer and much more comfortable option for their menstrual pads. I love reusable pads myself so I wanted to make it more accessible for more women worldwide.

The reason of selling this business

I reduced the price! Recommended price by exchange valuation tool is 21,350, I reduced it to 18,000! I am open to any offer. I have two kids under the age of 3 and I am due for another baby very soon. I also am working full time as a registered nurse. Simply put, I do not have time to give my website, the ads, the instagram page, etc the proper amount of attention it deserves to be more profitable. I am just a bit overwhelmed and I am hoping someone who has just as much passion as I do for this specific niche will take over.

Fulfilling orders and communicating with the supplier, the website is created and very nice already. The website was created from the Trennder team which is a professional team who builds websites. This was about 650$ to have this done. Emailing customers and handling customer questions, returns, or tracking help. Running advertising campaigns if that is how you would choose to get traffic to the website.

Other details about profit: I have not been profitable because Facebook advertising is so expensive and unpredictable. I am also not an expert by any means in the advertising department. This is my first venture and I lost money from ads. The store itself has a ton of potential to be profitable if put in the right hands or if you hired someone who knows what they are doing with ads. That is why it has not been profitable for me yet. You will notice I put my average profit/month and my overall profit margins at 1$ and 1% because I can't put "zero" in that field. I haven't made a profit yet, because the Facebook Ads and Google Ads have lost money.

    How to grow this business

    This business has a strong website built and also a strong supplier relationship already built. What the store needs is a strong marketing team behind it to make it grow in the next five years. I have personally tried to run Facebook advertising and Google advertising on my own and have not been profitable. I have never ran ads before, also never created ads or managed them. If you want to make this business profitable you will need to implement the social ads well and have an expertise in the area. I would have had a professional take over my advertising for me in order to grow this business even better. I have a few influencers who recently received my pads (3 of them) who are going to be providing influencer review videos of the pads. These would be a part of the purchase, I would get these videos to you to use for advertising.

    Skills to have

    As a store owner for reusable menstrual pads you will need to have a knowledge of menstrual cycles, different product options for women in regards to feminine hygiene, and do some research in the area of reusable menstrual products. You will need to be able to get traffic to the website via paid ads or free traffic if you have knowledge in that area, you will need to know how to fulfill orders via the drop shipping method via emails with the supplier, having a good understanding of customer satisfaction and responding to emails will also be necessary.
