Coastal Beach Style sells home décor, gift items, accessories and stationery. We have a Facebook page with 25k followers who actively engage in our posts. We also have stores on Etsy and Zazzle, where we sell some of our most popular items. All designs are original and created in-house. I am a graphic designer and have worked for a retail company for over ten years. The sale of this store includes transfer of ownership and the copyrighted designs for this store. This is not a dropship store. While some products can be automatically fulfilled through an app, a good number of them are manually fulfilled via screenprinting, sublimation and vinyl. Many products are also personalized and interaction with the customer is required to complete orders. While it's not a set-and-forget kind of store, it can become one with the addition of Shopify apps. The buyer for this store will need to have background in the custom product industry and familiar with sublimation, vinyl and screen-printing. We do not offer training in this area. I've enjoyed creating and running this store, the beach niche is a fun one. But I've had ongoing health issues the past year and it's been a challenge to keep the store going.
The beach niche is a fun niche to sell in. And profitable. Think Tommy Bahama, Margaritaville, Lily Pulitzer and Salt Life. They all have followings and a solid base of customers. Coastal Beach Style has potential to grow, there are active followers and needs someone to take it to the next level. Where we excel are the products that the other stores are not offering such as shower curtains, bed covers and personalized items.
My background is in pattern and stationery design. So while I can design all-over-print for pillows, shower curtains and bed covers, I'm not as experienced with shirt design. The store also needs someone who can multi-task and handle marketing. We've started an email list but often neglect it. It's hard to run a business solo, you'll need help to attend to various areas and grow the store.
I've created the designs you see on the products. I've vetted various manufacturers to pick the best ones in terms of cost and quality. I've taken the product photos you see in the store. We also have put quite a bit of effort into SEO for the store and have a blog with a good number of posts.
