Cole and Coddle is a family and baby novelty gift store that has been running profitably for almost 2 years. Holidays such as Fathers and Mothers Day, and Christmas provide massive revenue increases - we've had 2 separate million dollar revenue campaigns (about 6 weeks per campaign) in the last years surrounding Father's Day.

We have a private printing partner that handles fulfillment seamlessly and for cheaper than anyone in the business here in the U.S.

We have world class designers based in L.A. that provide us with designs.

The buyers role (our role now) would be to setup and run the Facebook, Instagram, and Google Advertising as well as maintain our referral/affiliate program. Additionally, you can choose to research new design ideas yourself (we have training on how to find new trending best sellers) or teach a virtual assistant to do the research and directly supply the design team with ideas which then our assistant will create product listings for and setup Facebook ads for testing. In addition to the Shopify Store, we have an accompanying Etsy store that also does 4-20k in revenue per month depending on time of year and when we are running Facebook ads, prospective buyers will find us and prefer to order through Etsy.

Do you work with any employees, freelancers, or contractors?

All customer service is handled by our rockstar VA team in the Philippines. They speak and write with amazing english and have never had any issues. They do all emails, refunds, talk with our supplier, etc.

Why should someone buy this store?

Even in slow summer months, this store has built enough of a brand that we get search traffic and affiliate traffic and can generate tens of thousands of dollars just from this organic push without any new products. We were featured on the Today Show and have the video and images we use in our marketing. Many of your friends probably have bought or seen someone wearing our infamous father's day matching shirts sets.

It's an established brand, easy to maintain, with a very mature Facebook pixel which continues to find us new buyers. Every baby shower, major holiday there are new mothers, fathers, newborns, aunts, uncles looking for novelty gifts, so ust need to launch new designs and have someone that can manage Facebook advertising campaigns.

How can the future owner improve the business?

New product lines - there are tons of baby and toddler products you can either dropship or buy in bulk. We sold several hundred diaper bags, and potty training items via dropshipping at a high profit margin. We've also sold many nursery decor type items like wall canvas which our printer also makes. We chose to keep only the apparel on the site because we like to spend all of our time making and launching more designs for shirts and onesies.

Etsy has massive potential and the new owner could add all of our past designs (100+ included in the sale) to the store. Management of Google Adwords can be improved by someone who knows how to optimize them.

Q4 is prime time for matching family pajamas and the search volume in google for them is too massive to ignore - new owner could find a supplier for flannels and then just print matching shirts and onesies to go with. We are working to set this up and have designs ready for the holiday season.

What work have you put into the store?

Finding, networking, and securing the best print on demand prices with a top tier private printer is the key to our success - we get things printed and shipped of high quality for about 2/3 of the price of any print on demand company. This has helped us have big profitable months and also endure slow months. This relationship would be passed along with seamless ease, and could provide a springboard for a ton of new products / even new stores. They only have a handful of clients and we have earned their trust and will work with the future owner of Cole and Coddle.

We have optimized all product pages, cart pages, and checkout pages several times, increasing conversion rates each time by 50% or more - changing button colors, mobile theme layouts, testimonials, etc.
