I originally set this store up to teach my 6 and 8 year old children about online business because it's so easy to understand and execute but they lost interest in the product itself after the first month and have stronger interest in doing other things online instead. In terms of what we wanted to achieve this store has been a success but it no longer fits with our long-term goals so we've decided to sell it.
The custom domain ranks #1 on Google for it's "combat socks" search term (mostly because of the SEO strategy and exact match domain) and niche and has $29k in sales.
We've spent very little time and money marketing the website after the first month due to the reasons stated above.
We strongly recommend that the new owner develops the brand identity further and sells socks and other products in line with the name of the site.
We sourced a quality supplier of socks and held inventory but we're not including the inventory in the price or in the valuation.
There is some inventory available to purchase if the buyer wants it but we're treating it separately from the sale of this Shopify website / domain. We'll provide supplier details to the buyer as well as an option to buy the existing inventory at cost.
