General description

This is a perfect starter store, but first you should experience the store for yourself by buying our socks ($19.95 for 9 pairs) that help veterans in need, then you'll get a feel for the value the store offers. The supplier of the product is great and you can buy from them in small or large quantities.

I originally set this store up to teach my 6 and 8 year old children about online business because it's so easy to understand and execute but they lost interest in the product itself after the first month and have stronger interest in doing other things online instead. In terms of what we wanted to achieve this store has been a success but it no longer fits with our long-term goals so we've decided to sell it.

The custom domain ranks #1 on Google for it's "combat socks" search term (mostly because of the SEO strategy and exact match domain) and niche and has $29k in sales.

We've spent very little time and money marketing the website after the first month due to the reasons stated above.

We strongly recommend that the new owner develops the brand identity further and sells socks and other products in line with the name of the site.

We sourced a quality supplier of socks and held inventory but we're not including the inventory in the price or in the valuation.

There is some inventory available to purchase if the buyer wants it but we're treating it separately from the sale of this Shopify website / domain. We'll provide supplier details to the buyer as well as an option to buy the existing inventory at cost.

Why should someone buy this store?

This is a great opportunity to develop the brand identity and expand this store. We've already proven it's ability to sell so it's a great starter store for someone that wants to get into e-commerce or for another brand that wants to acquire it for expansion.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Develop the brand identity further, focus on social media marketing and leverage the existing customer base, because it works well.

What work have you put into the store?

We came up with the name and idea, we sourced a supplier and put the store together on Shopify and proved it can work by selling $30k+ of product. The store can easily be run part-time or could become a full-time venture so it's a great stater store.

Seller‘s Advice

How to grow this business

Work on it full-time, or at least more than we have. We've proven the product sells and about 10% of our customers have re-ordered between 2 - 5 times. Put an offer in front of people looking for deals / fashion and they'll buy.

Skills to have

Follow the Shopify guides, it's very easy to run the store.
