We are a Shopify Partner, and create pre-built Shopify stores for sale. This is our latest addition, that features one of my favorite topics, home improvement and decor, with a niche in the "cottage style" decor theme. According to HGTV, cottage style decorating ideas is in one of the most searched topics. Creating and making social media posts, finding new products and advertising these cottage style decor items is typically well responded to.
The reason of selling this business
This is what we do - we create pre-built Shopify stores. Stores that already have a theme, a "brand" with logos, graphics, a premium theme, and products to get you off the ground with. The foundation for these stores are already built for you, and all you have to do is change what you want, fill in your information, and start advertising to make your first sale.
What's involved in running this business
We typically don't have any sales prior to selling these pre-built Shopify stores. That being said, we create the stores very carefully to ensure accuracy. This is important to gain customer trust, which helps increase conversion rates. Once you begin running the business, it is simple to use the already installed app Oberlo to order your products from AliExpress, and get them shipped directly to your customers address as quick as possible.

How to grow this business
I would grow Cottage Touch by adding more products in the already provided collections/categories. Creating great quality photos, policies (processing and shipping), as well as product descriptions all make for a successful drop-shipping store. One product is all it takes for a large audience to start viewing your store on a regular basis. Additionally, I would start working on a social media presence. Creating a business Facebook Page, Twitter profile, Instagram page, and for this store in particular, starting a Pinterest account to showcase product images. Personally, Pinterest would be my go to social media platform for this store, as "pinning" items to improve your house/apartment is something that people do all the time. "Home Improvement Projects" are always a top category. Start by gaining traction there, and then branching those same followers across Facebook, and other social media platforms. Additionally, creating some Facebook Ad Campaigns to assist in organic growth is always recommended. Facebook Ads run seamlessly across Instagram as well, so make sure you have an Instagram account setup prior to launching any campaigns or ad sets.
Skills to have
A general idea of how drop-shipping works is recommended. This store uses Oberlo, and AliExpress, which I personally feel is the easiest and most intuitive. Ability to come up with good sounding titles, and descriptive product descriptions are also helpful. Knowledge and experience in using Adobe Photoshop is extremely important to be able to create high-quality product images, and continued marketing images that advertise store promotions, discounts and other general news.
