Why this business was started

I'm a fashionista designer and writer. I love everything fashion and I wanted to be able to share it to the world. My mom has always been my fashion icon from my childhood. I have played amidst her collection of Chanel and Cartier. I just love fashion and everything that relates to the theme. All the inspiration for my vintage collection is based on my fashionistas icons of the 60s, 70s and 80s, like my mother, Jackie Onassis, Audrey Hepburn, and Lauren Hutton. I believe that my pieces can transport you to a more glamorous and hopeful time.

The reason of selling this business

I used to sell on Etsy for 11 years, but they suddenly closed my account and I have no time to fully commit to social media management or hire somebody to manage or grow the business properly since I am off of Etsy and am only an E-Commerce store that solely sells online via the platforms that Shopify allows for.

What's involved in running this business

Thrifting, finding the apparel themselves, reviewing it and inspecting each item for imperfections and damages. I measure and size out the items to ensure they are properly listed for people since they are usually single items I find, and not a collection of them.

Shipping and handling is also done manually by me.

Social media posting has been also by me, which are just basic photos of the product being worn or just the product itself.
