Valued by Shopify at nearly $50,000, this beautiful store is newly launched at the end of March & performing well, with sales to continue growing effortlessly in the next few months. Operates in lucrative niche of feminine hygiene product. The actual average monthly revenue is about $17,000 (refer to information under "Traffic and Performance" section). The sales went down in May because I deliberately spent less on advertising in May (45% less compared to April), due to Covid-19 impact on shipping time. But starting in June, sales have increased again. ROAS and profitability has actually increased every month between the launch in March until now (August). So this is an indication that the store is doing pretty well. In the long run, I expect the sales trend to go up again, especially because I am now in the process of drafting the second ad video. Background of store creation: I discovered the product at the end of last year and immediately noticed that there is a market gap for this type of product (sterilizer for reusable menstrual cups). The product looks innovative and more importantly, solves a problem for many people. I had also previously seen a stable growth in the reusable feminine hygiene product sector, and believe it is there to stay for the coming years.

My business partner and I are two male entrepreneurs who are ready to take on any challenge, but as it turns out, we do not have passion or much interest in developing a feminine hygiene product brand. Nothing against it, we just believe there are other people who know exactly how to grow this store better that we can. So, we kinda left the store on auto-pilot mode now, but it still makes decent profit each month.

I have tried and tested about 6 different suppliers on Aliexpress to finally stick with 2 very reliable suppliers. I believe I have the best deal for the products, and the orders are delivered very quickly. The suppliers are very responsive and cooperative. They speak very good english and so far cooperation with them has been nothing less than excellent.

    How to grow this business

    The store has only been opened since end March 2020 and has very healthy financials (increasing sales, increasing ROAS). For the next few months, the new owner will be able to effortlessly enjoy incoming stream of revenue from the facebook ad sets that I have already set up. Running almost on auto-pilot, this store does not need much maintenance to get a decent profit. However, if a little more effort is put into the store, it has the potentials of generating significant profit. Being a new store, this means there are still many other opportunities that are unexplored (influencer marketing, email marketing, SEO optimisation, etc). The growth and sales are only just beginning for this store. E-commerce businesses in personal feminine hygiene industry should also consider plans for organic growth, which should be relatively easy to attain, considering the general increase in market trend and demands in this sector.
