I wanted to have a side business to generate some additional income. It's been a great learning experience for both me and my wife. We're able to work on it together every night and continue to grow the business. We're using what we've learned to get into some other businesses now.

How to grow this business
Just want to note that I created the store in December but didn't open it up for sales until the very end of February. Shopify is including those 3 months of no traffic and no sales in the averages for my store. The actual averages are $76,000/month in revenue and 56,000/month in visitors.
Continue growing the social media following. Instagram has grown very quickly for us and is a great sales channel.
