Why this business was started

Founded 1 year ago, we are an Eyewear Ecommerce Brand offering a wide range of stylish high quality blue light glasses and sunglasses. It has a loyal and growing fanbase worldwide across multiple platforms. Due to current personal time constraints, the business is not actively running any advertising campaigns and is temporarily on the 'pause and build' Shopify plan. This explains why there isn't much activity shown in the recent months.

So far, there has been a significant amount invested towards building this great website with the help of shopify developers/conversion rate optimisation experts, researching and trialling new products, creating and testing a number of video creatives (all current branded content is included: videos, photos, branded material etc.), whilst also receiving guidance from top digital marketers, content creators and brand builders. This website is ready for further building or to go as is. All branded material (videos, photos etc.) and current stock will all be included with the sale.


The reason of selling this business

Building this brand has been one of the most challenging, yet rewarding and enjoyable experiences I have ever had. I have collaborated with many influencers, worked with top social media marketers, brand builders, and content creators and have had my ups and downs through it all. However, I have had other business ventures operating and growing on the side as I worked on this. I've also finished my studies to move in to new career pathways - which I am very passionate about. Although, this ecommerce brand has huge potential for growth, it does require someone who is committed to giving their time, effort and resources to scale it even further, with the biggest part being regular creation of new content, market research, and all the general logistics behind it.

Why have I decided to sell? I don't believe that I can further build this business whilst staying committed to my other work. But at the same time, I have seen so much potential in this website with the world moving towards new accessories/products within its niche.

But what does this store need now? It just needs the right person who can see the same potential, who is flexible, innovative, committed and believes that they can take it to the next level.

What's involved in running this business

  • Creating new and engaging video/image content for social media. This is usually done externally with our Content Creation Team "CookiesnContent" (feel free to check them out as they are amazing!) or filmed by me and edited by my freelancer. All contact details can be provided upon request.
  • Market research: Find and test new styles of glasses or other products if you wish.
  • Manage Facebook Ad Campaigns: Analyse Facebook data, find profitable ads and scale them
  • Finding new influencers to collaborate with - we have already collaborated with Top Influencers such as Sarah Magusara, Tony Safar (Safar Bros), Hannah Mchutchison, Emily-Jane Sarroff (Empower with Em Mindset Coach), Nathanial Taplin and more..
  • General Logistics: Packing orders and posting them via Australia Post, ordering stock in bulk from overseas, stock control etc.
  • Designing new marketing material via Canva (or hiring a graphic designer if you wish) and ordering finished designs from our Australian Supplier: Vistaprint.
  • Collaborating with Freelancers: I have about 3 freelancers who help me with the business: a social media manager/editor for all social media posts, a Facebook Ads Consultant for advice on how to scale more effectively and overcoming challenges, and a Shopify Developer/CRO expert to help optimise the stores layout and features.

They are experts in making high converting ecommerce ads and have done wonders for me. I can provide all details for my Shopify Developer and CRO Expert who has helped me optimise my product pages and customised my checkout funnel to increase the conversion rate. I can provide all details for my Facebook Ads Specialists who have helped me with anything related to scaling ads, solving issues and even for starting a new Facebook Ads manager account. I can provide support during the transition and also regarding what has best worked for me in terms of social media marketing, content creation, market research etc. I am fairly experienced with Shopify and some of its main features/apps and can help with most things relating to this - as long as it is something I have used before for this website. For the handover of accounts: I will support through the process of handing ownership over all accounts (all social media pages, shopify and all apps access, hand over of Facebook ads account OR connecting a new ads manager account if necessary)
