Deer Grace

We actually purchased this business from someone, because we really thought we would be able to expand it. We knew it would be a lot of hard work, but due to some personal circumstances we are unable to give it the time that it needs. It truly does fill a gap in the market of beautiful modern shoes.

We do not have the the time necessary to help it expand and grow. We love this company and have so many high hopes for it, but we do not believe we are the people to do it at this time.

Marketing is fundamental to the success of this business, including posting on all social media accounts to hit our targeted demographic and managing collaborations and partnerships. Targeting certain social media partnerships allows us to hit a very narrow demographic to turn marketing efforts into actual dollars, as well as staying relevant in the minds of those who have already bought from Deer Grace because we're constantly on their social feeds. Daily operations also include order fulfillment, from packaging to shipping, as well as creative tasks like new product designs.

Over the next five years we would have limited edition lines for each season. We had initially planned to do a spring launch but were unable to get everything together to do that, but we do have samples we are happy to provide. We also would add lots of new products to our shop if we were keeping it. We think this company could be expanded on and really flourish.

Skills required include a strong marketing background, including knowledge of social media marketing and influencer collaborations, to drive sales toward a demographic that relies heavily on social media. Obviously, a business background is necessary to ensure the business is well-operated and profitable. One strong skill to have, but is not entirely necessary, is an eye for design and aesthetic as you will want to adapt to each season's fashion to remain relevant and forward-thinking.
