The store was born 5 years ago as a subscription model craft kits for kids ages 3-12.

The business started under the name of The Happy Trunk and was soon featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, and several national and local media channels which led to great success for the business.

We rebranded 2 years ago to streamline the business logistics. We have a very passionate customer following who keep coming back to us. We have a very high % of return customers as we have built this with good customer service, and an interesting hihg quality product line.

We have a fairly decent email marketing list which has proven ROI thatyou can tap on further. You will have in hand a mail list, ready to use, so the future owner will use it to get sales without spending money, or even upload it on facebook and he can retarget them, or test new products in the same niche using lookalike audiences.

There is massive growth potential and amazing opportunity for someone who wants to hit the ground running a proven kids craft/subscription niche. There is no need to store large inventory as the boxes are paid for before and then you can order inventory to assemble the boxes. Summer and November, December holiday months are always our biggest months! We do offer free shipping within the US, which incentivizes customers and keeps them coming back. We believe that this is worth the added cost of paying for shipping.

However, I do want to make sure I hand it over to a capable owner and I will be vested to support and help the buyer succeed, especially with the high season coming up. The business has a lot of potential to grow if you put in good marketing.

Due to my personal family situation I have not worked on this store for this past year. But I have seen really good results with running this business.

What work have you put into the store?

I have built this store from scratch doing everything from PRmarketing and sales to creative projects for the boxes to procuring materials and shipping to the end customers. If you can create a good shipping logistics for shipping monthly boxes, it doesn't require too much in terms of operations as many systems are already set in place.
