General description

Since 2003, Doolittle's Pet Products e-commerce site has primarily targeted products for senior and handicap pets but we offer a wide range of products to pets of all ages. There would be very little work involved since site is completely set up and profitable. All orders are drop shipped from the manufacturer or wholesale distributors so no need for storage of inventory. There is some educational information on the site which can be expanded upon, helping to increase traffic to the site. You don't have to be a veterinarian to own the site, and we would be willing to train you about the most popular products we sell. We are selling the site due to primary job responsibilities and not enough free time to further develop and grow the site.

Why should someone buy this store?

Great margins, 100% drop ship, good relationship with approximately 12 vendors. Also includes several related domains and social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest & Twitter. Easy to run, requiring minimal effort but potential to make much greater profits with effort, especially utilizing advertising and developing relationships with more vendors and sales channels.

We pride ourselves on developing personal relationships with our customers and customer satisfaction has always been a priority.

How can the future owner improve the business?

We've not advertised much. Better social media focus, add Facebook advertising. Cultivate repeat buyers. Automate abandoned cart emails. Marketing campaigns, fostering more relationships within the industry. If one could actively field phone calls, most shoppers would be converted.

We have 2000 email subscribers, but have not done much with this list. Only a couple of sends in the past 12 months.

The blog has had sporadic attention, but needs a steady stream of content. Dr. Kelley would be willing to contribute content on occasion for a small fee if desired.

What work have you put into the store?

We invested in a new logo & completely updated the current responsive theme in early 2016. A fair amount of work has been done to improve SEO and hand select useful and high quality products.
