Drowning Our Oceans

Appears in Starter stores , Print on demand

General description

This business is a social enterprise. It seeks to educate the masses on the environmental issues related to plastic pollution, whilst offering eco-friendly alternatives to common polluting products.

Over £370 in sales in our first 38 days, with a conversion rate of 1.5%, with just a single product.

The main sales channels are twitter and instagram. On here we have been posting facts about plastic pollution, and results of our daily beach clean-ups.
It also has a blog, used as an educational tool.

This business was created by two students in the British seaside city of Brighton who became sick and tired of seeing a littered-covered beach. We put in a lot of man hours getting to this stage, however with university now over for the summer, we may struggle to continue, and believe this would be a great starter store for someone else who is looking to make a positive impact, and make some money.

This store operates with physical stock sold at great margins. We have a limited variety of stock at the moment but more is on it's way and we are more than happy to help you find good products.

Feel free to inbox us if you would like more details/have any questions.

Fantastic margins.

I'm sure that if you do not live near the beach and would like to maintain the beach clean-ups side of the business, you can work out an arrangement with one of the partners (who lives in Brighton and is willing to stay on board for a small amount of equity).

How can the future owner improve the business?

More variety in the stock.

Continue to release content on the blog (we can assist with that).
