General description

This is an electric bicycle dropshipping store with unlimited potential. e-bikes are becoming very popular especially in urban areas with commuters and seniors. They provide the rider with "pedal assist" which is very helpful when riding uphill. They run on electric motors that are rechargeable and can go for hours. It has seven e-bike suppliers on board already. I will include a spreadsheet of dozens of more suppliers that I haven't had time to call yet to set up a dropshipping agreement with. You just need to do some advertising. This niche's products are high ticket items so your profit is high for each sale. A $1000 ebike will get you $250 profit on a 25% margin for example. All of my suppliers strictly enforce MAP so you know what your margins will be and you don't have to worry about being undersold by a competitor. This store has a Facebook page with well over 10k likes. This is important if you plan on doing Facebook advertising because it will lower the cost of ads. The value of having this many followers is extremely important and alone is worth the cost of this store. Many businesses run Facebook "like" campaigns to increase their page value and pay $4-$5 per like. Do the math, 10,000 likes is worth $40,000 to $50,000. I've lowered the price to a ridiculous low number because I am anxious to move on. I am selling this store because I don't have the time to put into it with product updates and advertising.

How can the future owner improve the business?

To improve this business to its full potential, you will need to call additional suppliers and get them on board. I currently have 7 suppliers and will provide a spreadsheet of dozens more for you to call. All of the research has already been done. Tweaking Google ads to be more targeted to product specific keywords and having a larger ad budget. I was going to set up an account with a company called Logical Positions, but I decided to sell the store instead.
