Why this business was started

We started this business when I took my baby out for the first time and realized that there had to be a better way to take care of him when we were on the go. I got lost in my diaper bag even after meticulously packing it the evening before. I invented the product for myself and when other moms saw it they remarked that it was genius and asked where they could purchase it for themselves. I knew I was on to something. My husband and I produced them with a vendor and began the company. We have expanded from 1 product in 1 pattern to over 8 products in 5 patterns.

The reason of selling this business

As the business continues to grow (+426% '17-18), so has our family. We are happy parents to now a 4 year old, 2 year old and 4 month old. With our kids being so young we need to focus on them. Though we enjoy the business and the products we have made, we have a lot of time restraints for keeping up with the growth of the business. We fulfill orders worldwide (30% of revenues outside the US) and it is showing that there is a demand in the global market for our product and brand.

We make the product overseas, import the product to a fulfillment warehouse in California, run the shopify website and multiple sales channels (Amazon, eBay, Google, Wal-Mart) centralized by shopify and our fulfillment partner, social media and marketing and advertising and customer service. We own the trademarks on our branding, several SEO domains, and have strong relationships with manufacturers.

    If we were not selling and were to grow it, we would work on getting into big box retailers like Buy Buy Baby or Bed Bath and Beyond. We would also increase our international reach to more countries as we are seeing that it has been successful. We would also open our own warehouse for storing and fulfilling items.
