Business Story
Why this business was started
I started Eco After in January 2020 with the ideal of creating a business that sourced it's own eco-friendly products. The goal of the business is to get people to make the switch to sustainable alternative products. I initially started the business drop shipping and just recently made the switch to housing my own inventory.
For advertising I have ran ads through Facebook and Etsy. I have Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Etsy already setup. I also do email marketing as well.
For products, I currently have a supplier I work with and I would be happy to connect you to them. I also have inventory already in stock I can ship to you as well.
The reason of selling this business
I have another niche store I have been working on and it's starting to take more of my time now.
What's involved in running this business
1.) Finding new products or inventing new products.
2.) Working with the supplier to order inventory (very easy to do and the supplier is very corporative).
3.) Maintaining the website by uploading new product images and descriptions and also improving SEO ( I have spent a ton of time already reducing the size of the images and conducting keyword research. This improves site speed dramatically and increases organic search ranking).
4.) Paid advertising (Facebook & Etsy Ads). My facebook pixel already has a ton of data from conversion ads and Etsy ads are pretty easy to run.
5.) Customer service, which isn't bad at all. Ever since I transitioned from drop shipping to carrying inventory it has been a breeze.
6.) Blogs are outsourced and I can connect you with the writer as well.

Seller‘s Advice
How to grow this business
I would focus on finding new products and working with the supplier to custom brand the products. I started to get some of the products branded and that inventory will be included in the sale. I would also focus on developing a subscription service for customers. A lot of the products already on the website would be great for that.
Skills to have
Facebook Ads, Etsy Ads, and Email Marketing would help, but I can help you through it at first until you're more comfortable. If you have SEO and Photoshop skills that will help as well, but all of these jobs can be outsourced.

Why use Exchange?
Exchange is the largest and fastest-growing marketplace for Shopify e-commerce stores
Verified listing data
The revenue and traffic data that you see on each listing is pulled directly from its Shopify account. This means that the data has been verified. Exchange reviews and monitors listings for thorough and accurate information.
Secure messaging platform
You will be able to communicate with sellers via a secure messaging platform. After you log in and request information from a listing, sellers are notified and have the ability to respond. When you are ready, you can make an offer.
Encrypted payment capture
Exchange and Escrow.com have partnered together to provide you with safe transactions that have bank encryption, making sure that payment is securely captured. Escrow.com ensures that its users pass verification checks before transactions can proceed.
Take time to inspect the business
Once you submit payment to Escrow.com and the payment has been secured, the funds are held until you confirm that all assets received are as negotiated. You can use the inspection period to ask the seller any extra questions about the business.
Safe store transfer
When the transaction is finalized, the dedicated migration team at Exchange will begin the process of making you the new owner of the store. Buyers and sellers will be notified via an email from the Exchange team once store transfers have been completed.
