Why this business was started
Loved the idea to sell glasses, they have so much potential. So much upsell and cross-sell potential. It was started to generate an additional income stream for my company. The branding itself that I came up with is very coherent and I enjoyed creating content for that brand. Moreover, there is a clear trend according to e.g. Google Trends research tool for my type of glasses. Also bigger brands are selling similar glasses, however the price point bigger brands are selling for is for my opinion way too high to have an attractive offer for the customer.
The reason of selling this business
No time to work on this store anymore. I think there is so much potential to capitalize on the branding of this store - and I think it is too sad to not use the potential that exists here. That is why I decided to list my store here. With some extra content creation you can really create a long-lasting brand. However, my other projects are already taking too much time from me, that I am not able to follow the steps to make this brand pop out more.
What's involved in running this business
Running traffic to the store via facebook and google ads. Contacting my supplier and giving him daily orders for fulfillment. Most of the parts can at some point be automated to some degree, however with additional effort at the beginning this store and brand can really become big. So far, retargeting campaings via facebook ads have only been used to a minimmal degree. I am not very experiecnce with creating a backend email marketing funnel.

How to grow this business
I would create more custom content around the brand which has huge potential. Use the existing e-mail list to send more offers to the customers. And increase the adspend on facebook and instagram as well as partnering with social media influencer. I have already been approached by some, but didn't have the time to finalize a deal. Moreover, I would switch to purchasing stock in order to increase the margin - here is a high upside potential
