Why this business was started

I became interested in wanting to reduce my plastic waste in my day to day living and started researching products and decided to manufacture some of my own. This is my 3rd online store and I enjoy the building of the business, but not so much the day to day running of a business.

I am studying full time and am finding it difficult to find the time to fulfill orders, keep Instagram up to date and do all the other things that go along with the general day to day running of the business.

    How to grow this business

    Currently I'm not running FB or Google ads as I don't have the time to fulfill all the orders I receive when running ads. (I had a 14k month when running ads) Before COVID hit I was approached by a number of major shopping centers to do a pop up store which would have been a big revenue earner. You could also do markets. I am also currently in the processes of adding a number of repeat purchase body care products to the range which would lift the returning customer rate. The business could also be scaled by using influencer marketing.

    Skills to have

    Knowledge in running Facebook and Google ads would be an advantage, but this can also be outsourced.
