Business Story

Why this business was started

I purchased this businesses about six months ago. The reason I purchased it is because women's swimwear is a very profitable market to get into. I did some research before I purchased the store. I surveyed a number of women and on average they have 22-25 bathing suits each. That is insane to me. This showed me that there is lots of opportunity.

The reason of selling this business

I have decided to sell the business because some of my other ventures have picked up and I don't have time to put toward this business anymore. If I had the time I would definitely have continued with this business as I see it being very profitable in the future.

What's involved in running this business

You have your main responsibilities such as fulfilling orders, running advertisements, and customer service. This is all basic functions of running a business. You will have to reply and follow up with emails. If you really want the business to excel there are some more duties to fulfill. Some of those include social media management (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook), product research, research on influencers, email marketing management, and split testing all aspects of the business.

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

There are many opportunities to grow the store over the next five years. The biggest thing I would do would be to build a brand. This is the first thing I did when I first acquired the store. I tried to build a brand and build customer loyalty. There are many ways to do this and we can discuss this if you decide to purchase the store.

    Skills to have

You should have some knowledge of how drop shopping works. You also should have some knowledge of social media management. The two many sources we used were pinterest and instagram. Also having some facebook advertising knowledge would be a plus.

Take time to inspect the business

Once you submit payment to Escrow.com and the payment has been secured, the funds are held until you confirm that all assets received are as negotiated. You can use the inspection period to ask the seller any extra questions about the business.

    Safe store transfer

When the transaction is finalized, the dedicated migration team at Exchange will begin the process of making you the new owner of the store. Buyers and sellers will be notified via an email from the Exchange team once store transfers have been completed.
