We wanted to explore online retail, and fill a hole in the market for a specific vibe of curation - specifically we targeted customers with a mix of preppy/grandmillenial aesthetic who like a colorful home.

The reason of selling this business

Unfortunately the overstock in our mainline wholesale/manufacturing business has created cash flow issues and we have to prioritize that, shortening the arms of additional avenues of our company. Ecommerce was important to us, but not vital to the health of the overall company. Our main business is not related to Elysia Home other than ownership - there is no overlap in customers or suppliers.

    We slowly increased our inventory over time at a sustainable rate, and continuing to do that as well as focusing on previous best sellers would definitely help sustain growth. We also had planned to increase our advertising budget on Facebook, Instagram, & Google - having a knowledable partner for this is an essential to our growth.
