Why this business was started

As a mom of three special needs kids, I needed a way to work from home and take care of my children while creating an income to contribute to my family's finances. Clothing has always been something I'm incredibly passionate about, and I've always prided myself in being one who has a unique style. Following in my parents footsteps of owning a business, I decided to dive into the online business ownership roll.

Enclothe has evolved over the years and I have extreme faith in another person with the right drive and ambition who can take the business to the next level and beyond.

The reason of selling this business

To be completely honest I just don't have the time and energy to put into owning a business. With 3 kids with busy schedules and my interest in a new career path, my business has fallen to the way side. I'd hate to see the business close completely, and I know with the right person Enclothe will prove to be a fruitful investment.

Enclothe is an online women's clothing retailer that caters to the free spirit and modern bohemian. We have a strong loyal customer base who have been with us since the beginning and a great brand presence in the online world. We sell through our website domain as well as on social media accounts.

Why should someone buy this store?

I am selling my store for a steal considering the time and energy I have put into it over the years. I realize the numbers aren't quite as strong the past couple of years, but our customers are loyal regardless and continue to come back to shop. I believe the right owner can easily take Enclothe to a 6 figure company and beyond within the first year of ownership.

How can the future owner improve the business?

I believe my biggest downfall has been consistency due to other responsibilities. The right owner will show up daily to remain a viable online presence. They will also form relationships with their clients to make them feel valued. And they will continue to grow their online presence to reach new potential customers.

What work have you put into the store?

I have worked to design the website, emails, social media accounts, etc all to represent a cohesive brand presence. I have undergone countless trainings (several thousands of dollars spent, and the training modules will be included with the sale) and incorporated tons of knowledge to run the business to the best of my ability.

Other details about profit: While 2020 has definitely brought our numbers significantly down due to my need to stay focused on my children during this time, we have still put up good numbers overall. We are involved with many local events which helps to move staler inventory not moving online which is also great revenue builders.
