Business Story

Why this business was started

I started this business because I love golf, and golf fashion, and had experience in website development, SEO and social media-driven traffic. I wanted to pair my passion for golf and fashion with my knowledge of internet marketing to build this eCommerce company. I was introduced to a local garment manufacturer and had the opportunity to manufacture these in the United States, and that's what we have done. We own all rights to the designs and patterns, and they will transfer with the business.

The reason of selling this business

I don't have the time or resources to continue to develop and market new products. I am also involved in a new startup that has taken up a majority of my free time, so I'm selling this business.

What's involved in running this business

For dropshipped products, simply managing orders, customer service, and marketing the products. For our private label products, we are responsible for all product development, manufacturing execution, creative content, order fulfillment, customer service, and marketing of our products.

This business was founded: over 3 years ago
Time to run this business: approximately 10 hours per week

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

Invest more money and efforts in additional product development, marketing, and pursuit of a better manufacturing process. Look at what Travis Mathew has done over the past five years, and what G/Fore and Greyson are doing now just in the past couple years - the market is there, but you need a wider variety of products made with tremendous quality. Once you have that, I would work directly with club professionals, retailers, and influencers to begin building a name for your brand.

    Skills to have

Knowledge of the golf industry would be helpful, but not necessary.
