This business was started by a pet owner and lover of pet toys. I have been running this website for 2 years. I am a one man operation who utilizes a website, Amazon FBA, Ebay and Bonanza as online retail outlets for selling pet products.

All products are bought from 2-5 wholesalers and resold as bundles and singles. Some products have been proven sellers on Amazon and I know I could sell on the website but I am short of funds to supply this business. There are currently 4 Products that are being prepped to find Chinese suppliers.

I have spent $0 dollars on traffic after blowing $250 in the very beginning. The website is starting to gain traction but I don't have the funds to buy more product and keep the dream alive. It is sustaining itself but the profits are small.

The website is 95% complete imo. It only needs a logo and a better looking link to Amazon

You could add a dropship aspect to increase sales by adding Oberlo and using Aliexpress as an automated source. That works but I don't like the long shipping times for a pet toy and customers complain. SOLUTION: Buy your stock from Aliexpress. Keep 1 in stock at your home at all times.

Why should someone buy this store?

This would be a perfect starter ecommerce experience for a young person who is a pet lover and wants to create an online home based income stream. The website is a paid template. I paid $150 for the template. It has two themes.

The website is already fully setup to accept all forms of payment. The product pictures are complete. The website needs a personal touch that only a creative young entrepreneur can give.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Social Media expertise. Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook etc. A logo. With some basic education on online traffic and how to draw qualified traffic to your site through paid advertisement like Facebook, Amazon, Ebay and others one could easily compete in the pet toys space online. Everlast Pet Toys already has a sustainable presence on Amazon. If you couple the Shopify site with your Amazon FBA presence you can automate the entire process and never have to print a shipping label. Highest margin comes from website sales.

What work have you put into the store?

I built the site. I took all the photos with a professional Canon EOS Camera. I later found out that my iPhone 6S works just as good under the proper lighting.

I have maintained three sustainable outlets for selling pet products online for over two years.
